Here at Walk with Me Doodles, we believe in breeding better. The quality, health & temperament of our puppies is so important to us. So, we ensure this through genetic health testing on all of our breeding dogs through Paw Print Genetics, Canine Health Check or Animal Genetics. We can easily provide a copy of your pup’s parents health testing upon request prior to take homes. However, all of these documents will be printed and placed in each of your puppy’s take home folders.

What about hips? These breeds are prone to hip dysplasia, so in an effort to not reproduce this issue, we are now starting to do PennHip or OFA on our breeding pups. Hips can be genetic & environmental. All of the guardian families in our program are given special instructions on how to raise their pup to prevent any hip issues.

We also do OFA testing for elbows & basic cardiac. We follow OFA guidelines, per breed and test what they recommend.

Our goal is to not just raise our pups to know the world is safe and people are kind, but to also ensure they live the very best life possible through guaranteeing their parents are in exceptional condition to be bred.

We know doodle breeders get a lot of negativity, but our goal is to set the bar high, to be ethical & transparent in every single step. Know that if you get a puppy from us, we went to every measure to only produce exceptional puppies.
